Jessica Araysa-Galvan is a Hispanic artist currently based in Oregon. Most recently, she worked as a landscape artist on LAIKA's upcoming film Wildwood. With a background in fabrication, she has worked as a model maker for stop-motion shorts, live action projects and theater productions, specializing in set decorations, costumes, and props. Jessica brings a diverse range of skills to her work with experience in laser cutting, 3D printing, sewing, painting, paper crafts, soldering and prop making. 

 

Originally from the Bay Area, Jessica graduated from the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Animation and Visual Effects, with an emphasis Stop Motion Fabrication. 

 

In her free time, Jessica enjoys collecting trinkets and spending quality time with her corgi Maple.
